🪴Quick Greenhouse Garden Update🪴

My little greenhouse is winding down for the season, but it’s still full of life! Everything’s been happily growing in pots, and it’s been such a satisfying setup. I’ve just harvested the last of my spring onions — the third batch this year — along with plenty of cherry tomatoes. A good tip for knowing when spring onions are ready: check that the stems are firm and about as thick as a pencil — that’s usually the perfect time to pull them.

The peppers are still growing steadily and should be ready to harvest a bit later on. They’ve loved the warmth, so I’m keeping them in sun as long as possible to help them ripen fully.

Now it’s time to prepare for the next round of planting. I’ll be replanting both the lettuce and spring onions soon, ready for the cooler weather ahead. Fresh soil, a little compost, and consistent watering should get the new seedlings off to a great start.

It’s amazing how much life and flavor can come from a few pots in a conservatory! 🫑🍅🥬🧅
